Want to be part of the legacy of bringing the story of Jesus to places where today the church doesn’t exist? You’ve come to the right place.

EPC World Outreach acts as the global missions sending organization of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, sending EPC global workers to various regions in the world. With global workers in East Asia and the Pacific, Europe and Central Asia, the Middle East and Africa, and South Asia, our workers are planting seeds in some of the hardest spiritual soil on earth among people with little to no access to the gospel. In addition, a stateside team serves in a variety of roles including field mobilization, field training and preparation, member care, child safety, prayer coordination, and more. EPC World Outreach global workers may be sent in two primary ways.

TWO WAYS TO GO

When EPC World Outreach global workers are sent direct, EPC World Outreach acts as the sole sending mission organization, working in collaboration with the sending church. Global workers are commonly sent to locations with established EPC World Outreach teams.

EPC World Outreach global workers may also be sent cooperatively. We have cooperative agreements with over 20 different mission agencies such as Pioneers, Frontiers, Serge, Interserve, and others. These organizations share the same heartbeat to reach the unreached and work cooperatively with us to support our global workers as they prepare to go and are sent. The cooperative agency acts as the primary sending organization and the global workers are commonly sent to locations where the co-op organization has an established team.

Whether going Direct or Co-op, our global workers receive many benefits and the support of our denomination including:

  • WO coaches help guide you through the process of discerning your team/location/timing.
  • Pre-field training (in the case of co-op, to supplement what the other agency requires).
  • The added layer of encouragement from like-minded coworkers who gather regionally to support each other.
  • Access to World Outreach Member Care and medical support.
  • Being part of the covenant family of the EPC.
  • Being “sent” by the entire denomination during a commissioning service at General Assembly.
  • A network of churches to partner with financially and in prayer.
  • Membership to the church that doesn’t change, even if missionary status or location does.
