In late 2012, the EPC’s World Outreach (WO) invited Greg to consider coaching WO Engage 2025 team working in the Muslim world. He began serving as WO Muslim Field Coordinator in June 2013. His main role, among many, is to come alongside missionaries and help with church-planting strategies, language and culture acquisition, team development, family and schooling issues, pastoral care resources, etc. He also serves as a member of the WO mobilization team and leadership team.

Greg was graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor Degree of Music Theory. He has also studied languages and music in several universities in China. He has a passion for the Muslim people and seeing them come to true faith in Jesus Christ.

Born in 1952 in San Rafael, California, Greg came to faith in Jesus Christ while a senior in high school in Idaho. He served with a Christian youth ministry during the 1970’s. After graduating from college, he moved to Wisconsin where he worked for the Missions Department of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. He met Karen in Wisconsin while they served together in a church. His first missions experience was a short-term trip to India in 1985 with the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students.

Greg enjoys the outdoors, fishing, and the music of J.S. Bach.  Greg and Karen were married in 1986 in Madison, Wisconsin, and have three daughters —Nita (24), Katie (22), and Leslie (17).  They are members of Bay Presbyterian Church in Bay Village, Ohio.
