Dave is a teaching elder in the EPC and, since his ordination in 1988, has served four churches as Senior Pastor or Interim Pastor. Over a span of more than 25 years Dave has had the privilege of making connections between churches and missionaries. He believes and preaches that each local church has the responsibility and joy of applying the Great Commission in all four parts as spelled out in Acts 1:8: locally (Jerusalem), regionally (Judea), cross-culturally (Samaria), and internationally (the ends of the earth). As it is said in the EPC: to the end of the street and to the ends of the earth! He looks forward to the opportunity of spreading this vision among many more EPC congregations.

Dave and Mindy were married at Lake Avenue in 1977 and have been active in local church ministry ever since. They have two grown children who are married to wonderful spouses. And they have six delightful grandchildren.
